By mind expansion through knowledge
I got them in the mail and wore them on a multi-mile hike in snow the next day. And approximately 20 more miles of walking since with and without snowshoes. The broke in smoothly and painlessly, they remain waterproof and warmth was never in doubt. I would recommend that a second liner is purchased to allow one set of liners to dry out from perspiration. They are on the heavy side and bulky but if you plan on spending an entire day in snow and want to stay warm, these boots can't be beat.

I haven't used them all that much yet, but I can say that they are unbeleiveably warm. The inner liner is thickish and keeps in warmth big time. Very comfy, completely waterproof and the high boot will keep snow and the elements locked out. Not ideal for casual use, really meant to be used in heavy snow / water and in the cold. Good build quality all around.

This boot was $68 yesterday. It's $129.99 today. Price goes up and down like the stock market. If you're not in a rush, put it in your cart and watch for a good price.
Good boot, warm and durable, excellent tread for slippery surfaces. I like the speed-lacing things on the upper part of the boot, saves time.
