Immediately comfortable, right out of the box. Stout and well-made, good quality leather and traction. I could toss half the boots in my closet out, and just wear Irish Setters for the rest of my life.

My husband had these shoes years ago and loved them. The fit and comfort are excellent. When ordered this time the fit and comfort were still the same. The shoes came in just a couple/few days even though we did not pay for express. Ordering through Amazon has always been excellent!

- Boots are very sturdy and look nice. They also add about .5" to my height
- The soles are great, dense yet comfortable and shock absorbing.
- Size is about .5 smaller than I normally wear, I recommend getting sized in a Red Wing store first
- Took me about a week of casual wear to break these in. I did have seem heel slip on the left boot due to the size of my foot. Some duct tape on my heel fixed this right up
