This is a great boot! It's a little warm if you live in a warm humid climate, but they are very comfortable, solid, good looking boots. Also the stitched soles are great if you know a place that resoles boots, if so this boot will probably serve you well for many years.

Finally bought a pair of these boots. I ordered them on a Friday, sprung for the over night shipping and 14 hours later they were on my feet. I ordered them 1/2 size big and my very first thought was "these are pretty comfortable". I wore them for 16 hours right out of the box and the only time I even thought about my feet was to think how warm my feet were. These met any expectations I had for comfort and then some. When it comes to shoes of any kind I am particularly picky about the look of the shoe. This boot looks great! My sons 1st impression was "they are awesome" and "they look fancy". A co-worker noticed them right away from 30 feet away and asked me if they were new boots. Overall my impression of the boot is they are going to last a long time. They look great with a pair of jeans! With a pair of khakis they look formal enough to pass as a dress shoe. But they arent! They are butt kicking 8" combat boots! Excuse me, I mean work boots. :)

Had these boots for three years in ROTC, and two years since. they easily withstand the hardest of terrains and worst of weathers. very comfortable, very durable; the souls are dang near impervious. these days they are pretty torn up...but hey, after five years they still shine like a sonuvagun.
